Natural Sanctuary Los Maitenes de Río Claro

The Río Claro Campus (272 acres) is located in a priority area for conservation due to its rich biodiversity. Along with neighboring properties, it constitutes the Natural Sanctuary “Los Maitenes de Río Claro”, which collaborates in the protection of the Río Claro river and its life-giving basin.

Río Claro Campus joins agroecological production, livestock rearing and conservation as interdependent and indivisible practices towards the planet’s future and that of its inhabitants.

We intend to form a Center for Peace and Agroecology, where the formation of young people, farmers and technicians in transformation and regeneration can move forward.
